Mannor of Wilbrook otherwise Wirkbrook – To wit
At the court leet of our sovereign lord the king And also the court baron of John Delahay esq. lord of the said mannor held at Peterchurch at the dwelling house of Thomas Draper within the aforesaid mannor the twenty seaventh day of October in the ninth year of the reign of our sovereign lord George the second by the grace of God of Great Britain, France & Ireland king defender of the faith etc. And in the year of our lord 1735. Before Thomas Williams steward.

Imprimis We the jurors & impannelled to enquire for our sovereign lord the king And the lord of the mannor do present as followeth.
We present George Parry, Lewis Powell, William Hall, John Draper,[ ] , Roger Jones, William Probert & John Morgan, who owe suit and service to this court and have been duly summoned to appear at this court as appears by the oath of the bayleif of this mannor. But have made default and for such this default.
We amercethem each in the sum of three shillings and four pence. Affeared to two shillings a piece as to Powell, Pary,Hall & Draper & two pence each the rest.
Also We present a bridge called the Horse Pool Bridge lying across the river Doier upon the highway leading from Hereford to the Urishay to be dangerous to passengers and a cmon nuisance & that the inhabitants of the parish of Peterchurch ought & used to repair the same.
We also present that a common foot bridge or foot passage over the Old Brook between the township of Hinton & Peterchurch within this mannor leading from Hinton to Wilmerston is in decay and out of repair and that the same ought to be repaired by the inhabitants of Peterchurch aforesaid, And we lay a pain of thirty nine shillings on William Roberts and Thomas Fletcher surveyors of the highways that they repair the same on or before the 25th day of December next. And that Daniel Bird certifies the performance thereof at the next court on like penalty.
