Image of newspaper cutting dated 11 August 1849 advertising the sale by auction of shares in various freehold estates in the parish of Clodock near to Longtown in 4 lots: four ninths of Cwmbwlog Farm comprising farmhouse, labourer’s cottages woods and 110 acres in occupation of Mr William Munkley as tenant, annual rent £15; four ninths of Upper or Northern Bryn Farm with farmhouse, buildings and 124 acres in the occupation of Mr Daniel Ellis at the yearly rent of £60; four ninths share in Old Cwrt [Old Court] Farm with farm house, buildings and 184 acres held by Mr Henry Thomas Harris, rental £95; four ninths share in a farm called Jennings Land of 27 acres held by Mr Henry Thomas Harris, rental £15.
