(2)    Arnold Powell of the township of Newton, parish of Clodock, co. Hereford, labourer.

 

LEASE of a cottage and four acres of land in the townships of Newton and Longtown.

 

Inserted is a receipt (Jan. 3, 1792 [sic]) from R. Morgan Kinsey to Thomas Phillips for the sum of £1, being four years’ reserved rent due to the Earl of Abergavenny for three tenements on Lower Mescoed.

Observations:

No. 1274 is the counterpart of the above. The relevance of the receipt referred to is unclear.
