Image of newspaper cutting dated 19 August 1848 advertising the sale by auction by Mr William Meyrick of the Colebrook Estate in the parish of Clodock, within half a mile of the parish church and consisting of a farm house and farm buildings with about 66 acres, tenant William Pritchard. The estate is subject to a payment of £5 a year to the poor of the parish. It has unlimited right of common on the Black Mountain, and the lands can be irrigated with ease.
