Description:
Mortgage Indenture dated 28th January 1922 of Clodock Mill and land in the township of Longtown, parish of Clodock, to secure £250 and interest at six percent. Made between the borrower Anne Lewis of Hunthouse Road, Clodock, wife of William Lewis, and the mortgagee Maude Ellen Bull of Harley House Hereford, spinster. The mortgage is secured on Clodock Mill otherwise Lower Mill and four acres, two roods and thirty perches of land adjoining, all in the township of Longtown in the parish of Clodock, and numbered 822 and 823 on the tithe map for the parish, now in the occupation of Abraham Davies as yearly tenant. Reference is made to an indenture of conveyance dated 24th November 1921 [see Archive ref. rs_clo_0037] and plans thereto. A schedule of numbers and quantities of land with Ordnance Survey references is given as follows:
