Title:

Probate Collection; Bond and documents for Phellipp Probert

Place name:

Clodock

Date:

1621

Description:

Documents

1. Bond dated [rubbed out] June 1621.
With bounden Jenette Probert, widow of Clodock and Thomas John Thomas yeoman also of Clodock in a surety of £60.

2. Inventory: no date; value £21 13 11d. No appraisers listed    .

Observations:

It is very hard to read the rubric at the top of the inventory because of damaged and missing top right hand corner of the page as well as it being very dark and stained. This has not prevented a complete identification of the deceased's first name although the initial and final letters are faded. The second name is quite clear.
