Bounden: Timothy Tomlins, coachmaster of St Giles in the fields, Middlesex and Thomas Jones of Clodock, gentleman in th sum of [faded] hundred pounds.

 

 

Observations:

Documents include a surgeon,s and a vicar's statement as to the mental incompetence of the deceased's wife to conduct her affairs. A copy if the baptismal register in respect of the deceased's 4 year old daughter. Timothy Tomlin is cited in the Bond as guardian to the child. According to one of the documents T Jones appeared for the lawful proctor of Elizabeth Thomas aged 4 and 'prayed that Timothy Tomlin of St Giles in the fields, London and Little George, Abergavenny, her uncle, her mother's brother, be appointed 'her guardn whereupon the Judge at the petition of the sd T. Jones did asign'. With coversheet 8 sheets in all.
