1. Two Bonds dated 8 July 1745 and 15 May 1746 respectively
Bounden: In the first: Hannah Maddox, widow, Richard Reece both of Clodock and Walter Price, gent in the sum of £800.
In the second: Richard Reece, vicar of Clodock and Edward Williams of Breconshire, gent in the sum of £1000.

2. Inventory: [2 pages plus copy] dated 1 March 1744 , value £431  19   2d. Appraisers Joseph Exton and James Parry.

Observations:

This set of documents should be read in conjunction with those of BR 1771/14 which also relate to John Maddox's estate. The administration of this estate was complicated by the fact that Maddox's widow, Hannah, remarried Richard Reece, vicar of Clodock and died, herself intestate, before winding up the Maddox estate. The original inventory has had two admons appended the first dated 9 July 1745 and the second 15 may 1746. Documents include a coversheet ; 7 sheets in all.
