To Jane, wife, all copyhold lands and tenements and messuages in Clodock for her lifetime and then to son, Ashe.
To sons Watkin and Thomas, £10 each, to be paid 6 months after wife, Jane's death.
To daughter Margery, £20 to be paid similarly.
To the poor people of Longtown and
Newton , 2/- in bread to be distributed 'at the discretion of my executrix.
To the cathedral
church of St Davids , 6d.
For the maintenance of Clodock church, 2/- at the discretion of the executrix.
Wife to be residual legatee.

Executrix: wife, Jane.

Observations :

* The probate date is given as shown but there is another date of 23 June 1631 also appearing on the top the cover sheet with no indication to what it refers.
There is also a bond, dated
7 July 1630 with bounden, Jane Phee widow and Phillip David yeoman both of Clodock in a surety of £100.
