Beneficiaries: To Elizabeth, Mary and Anne daughters of brother, George Powell, £20 each to be paid them when they each attain the age of 21. Until such time, they are each to receive the interest on their £20 paid yearly.
To sister, Dorothy, £20
To Abigail Gilbert of Walterstone, £10, '...for and towards ye satisfaction of my trouble wth her'.
To Sister Dorothy and niece
Elizabeth all bonds, bills, notes and ready money.
To Dorothy, £10 for funeral expenses.
To Henry Powell, son of brother David, 1/-
The residue of the estate to be divided equally between sister, Dorothy and the three nieces.
The Will stipulates that the executrices should bear and pay all the costs that may fall on the trustees '...on their journeys in proving ye same and all other trouble therein'.

Apart from wearing apparel the inventory lists only debtors. Documents include a coversheet which wrongly states the inventory value as £36 5 0d; 5 sheets in all.
