church of St Davids , 4d.
To niece, Anne vch James, £6 'being in the hands of John Powell William due by bond at the Assumption[?] of our blessed Ladye next and the interest'.
To niece, Margaret Turner, to the use of Moyses her son,40/- being in the hands of John William Watkin, 'part of the £6  6  8d and their interest at midsummer next'.
To Thomas Rees Lewis, William Rees Lewis and Watkin Rees Lewis to be equally divided between them, £3 to Rees Lewis of Llanveynoe.
To Watkin Thomas Parry, 6/8d and a posnet.
To Elenor vch Rees Lewis and Mary vch Rees Lewis, 13/4d divided equally between them.
To Watkin William, 20/-.
To nephew, Lewis Turner, 20/-.
To niece, Anne vch James, in addition to the above £6, all household stuff, linen, woollen brass and pewter whatsoever, all the wooden ware, [table]boards benches and forms. The testator's house and everything around and about the house together with a red cow, a heifer and 3 'yerly sheeppe'.
To Margaret Turner, niece, above, one cow.

9 April 1634 ; valued at £10  7  2d [but comes to £9  12  6d]. Appraisers: John William Watkin, Watkin Lewis David, Rees Lewis.

 

 

Observations:

The documents include a Bond dated 17 April 1634 with bounden Watkin William of Clodock, yeoman and Lewis Prees of the same place in a surety of £200.
Her will is poorly written with a small amount of damage which does not detract from the sense and intentions expressed.
