To David Thomas, son, 5 bullocks now yoked, 8 kine, and 3 two year old heifers. Also the tenement two meadows and an orchard lying in Michaelchurch Escley which was purchased from Richard Jenkins.
' Whereas on[e] David Thomas Esq., deceased, my late uncle, by his last will and testament bequeathed me', £5 a year for 20 years to start to be paid two years after his death by his executor Lyson Thomas and a further legacy of £8, none of which has been paid; the £113 is left to son David.
To cousin, Mary Thomas daughter of Lyson Thomas, a two year old heifer
Nephew Thomas Gilbert, gent, owes the testator £207 by several bonds and as a surety has granted him a 100year lease on certain lands in Clodock. The testator's executor is directed 'with all convenient speed' after his death to get the £207 together to pay his debts by pursuing the bonds or sale of the lease.
To cousin, Mr David Thomas, the standing bedstead in he parlour.

There is a Bond dated 39 May 1627 with bounden;
Elizabth Verch William of Clodock, widow and William Harry of [Michaelchurch] Escklie, yeoman in a surety of £100.
There are two inventories the first is headed with the usual rubric of it being 'A true Inventorie of all the go [torn off] and chattels etc of John Thomas Price of the parish of Clodock ?Ǫ.prised the fower and twentieth day of [torn off but must be March] 1626.'

The second Inventory is headed
'A true and perfect Inventory of all the goods cattells chattels and credits of John Thomas late of Clodock deceased and not administered by Watkin William Harry deceaseds executor named in the last will and testament of the said John Thomas Deceased'. There is neither date nor are any assessors named it is written in a different hand to the first inventory. Whilst many of the items listed are the same in both there are also many differences; it too is reproduced below but with modern spelling and with Arabic numerals for the values..
