Executrix: Sibille Mapp [a rather obscure sentence follows which could be interpreted as " John Charles to be overseer to David Charles concerning the rent produced from the leasehold
land of Hugh Charles ]

2 May 1674 , value £45 0 0d. Appraisers John William Watkin, David Thomas and Charles Richard.

 

 

Observations:

Includes a bond dated 9 July 1674 with Sibille map and Richard Charles as bounden. The will which is beautifully written was nevertheless often obscure as the scribe had written it as dictated by the testator, nor was his spelling always equal to the task. With coversheet 4 sheets in all.
