Beneficiaries: To his daughter, Elizabeth, all his messuage in which he now dwells, charging the property with £100 to be paid to his son, Timothy.
To daughter, Hannah, £80 secured by mortgage on the lands of John Griffiths in
Newton . Also to Hannah a further £40 and she is to share equally with Elizabeth all his household goods.
All his books are to be divided between his 3 children except one book by Isaac[?]  Ambrose 'being a Body of Divinity' which he leaves to
Elizabeth .
Elizabeth is also to have all his corn and grain and implements of husbandry.
To the first minister to settle 'att the Chapell of Longtown', 20/- p.a. for five years

Executrix: daughter, Elizabeth with his friends William Forrest and Samuel Powell as trustees.

Observations:

Documents include a bond dated 9 August 1746 and a grant appointing David Jones of Brecon town administrator, showing that after probate Elizabeth married David Jones and he took on the task of administering the estate. 2 coversheets; 8 sheets in all.
