Beneficiaries: To his two loving daughters, Elizabeth and Eleanor £100 to be equally divided between them and paid out of his estate in Clodock. This sum to be paid at the discretion of his wife, Elizabeth 'if she continue a widow' If she re-marries [and here most of the direction is lost in a crease in the parchment] the £50 to each daughter is to be paid when they reach 21.
To son, James, 'the Iron Jack for the roasting of meat', the clock, the settle and desk and C. cupboard [corner cupboard?] that are in the room called the Hall and the bed, bedstead and furniture in 'the room called the parlour'.
Wife, Elizabeth to be residual legatee if she remains a widow.
