Beneficiaries: To his two loving daughters, Elizabeth and Eleanor £100 to be equally divided between them and paid out of his estate in Clodock. This sum to be paid at the discretion of his wife, Elizabeth 'if she continue a widow' If she re-marries [and here most of the direction is lost in a crease in the parchment] the £50 to each daughter is to be paid when they reach 21.
To son, James, 'the Iron Jack for the roasting of meat', the clock, the settle and desk and C. cupboard [corner cupboard?] that are in the room called the Hall and the bed, bedstead and furniture in 'the room called the parlour'.
Wife, Elizabeth to be residual legatee if she remains a widow.

Observations:

No Inventory. Includes a bond [2 pages] with no date other than the year 1746 appointing the deceased brother James Vaughan as administrator. The admon states the will was un administered by Elizabeth 'widow and relict'. Includes separate admon and coversheet; 6 sheets in all.
