To Grandchildren, Margaret George Griffith and Jayne George Griffith, all goods, cattle , chattels & household stuff after debts and funeral expenses have been paid.

Executrixes: Grandchildren, Margaret George Griffith and Jayne George Griffith.

Marked by the testator.

Witnesses: Thomas John Phe[Phillips], William Harry John, James Griffith, Rees Lewis. Also listed but with no mark or signature is John William.
 
Date of Probate: An admon dated
19 November 1632 indicates that the two executrixes are minors.

2. Inventory:   dated  
21 November 1632 ; valued at £29 18  4d but comes to £28  7  8d. Appraisers: Thomas Johnes, William Harry John, John William Watkin Williams.

 

 

Observations:

The documents include a Bond in which the first named bounden and administrator is Goody Griffith, presumably the mother of the 2 beneficiaries who are minors. The bond is dated 19 November 1632 with bounden Goody Griffiths of Clodock  and Howell Robert of the same place in a surety of £100.
