Beneficiaries: To 'the poor that shall attend my funeral', 50/-
To the poor of Llanveynoe, 50/-
£20 to be laid out on his funeral, 'under the direction of Mary, the wife of Mr Thomas Harris of Longtown'.
To kinswoman, Ann Jenkins, wife of William Jenkins of Abergavenny, an annuity of 50/- for 4 years for her own 'Separate use exclusive of her present husband or any other husband'. To be paid out of his messuage in Clodock [unnamed].
To nephews, Thomas Meredith and William Jones, the messuage called Brinrewy for the remainder of the lease.
To kinswoman Helen Parry, £4 and a few household goods.
To the children of nephew, Thomas Meredith, Mary, Susanna, Ann and Thomas, 20/- each.
To the children of nephew William Jones, Elizabeth and Ann, £5 each.
To Martha Davis and Elizabeth Griffiths, £10 each. To kinswoman Mary Lloyd £15.
To Elizabeth Lewis, daughter of kinswoman Ann Jenkins, £10 and best brass pot. To
Elizabeth 's brother Francis and 2 sisters, Mary and Ann, £5 each.

To Mary, wife of Mr Thomas Harris of Longtown, £10 and to their son, Thomas £5.
To cousin, the Rev James Meredith, 20/-.
To Ann, wife of William Smith of Llanveynoe, 20/-.
To James Jenkins and Mary Jones 20/- each [some words missing].
To John son of John Mapp of Trewin, 5/-.
To John son of John Davis formerly of Wern Wen, 40/-.
To Ann Williams, 'my servant maid', the best feather bed, the best bolster, the best set of curtains, the best rug and blankets, 2 pair of fine sheets, his best brass kettle and various other items including a clock and 'the cow which I kept to my own use before the decease of my brother Noah Jenkins'.
To Lewis Jenkins, servant man, 'all my books except two bibles and a prayer book'

The testator orders and desires that '… the cider mill, rummer and rope' at his house be left 'as standards belonging to the premises'.
Any residual items of household goods to go equally to the 3 daughters of kinswoman Ann Jenkins. All the rest of his goods and chattels to go to nephews Thomas Meredith and William Jones.
