Beneficiaries: To his wife, Joan, all his property for her lifetime then:
To his son, Thomas, an estate bought from John Powell on Lower Mescoed, provided son pays £5 each to daughters, Mary and Ann.
To son, Charles, his other estate bought from Thomas Price on condition he pays £5 each to 3rd son David and daughter Elizabeth.

Executrix: wife, Joan.

Marked by testator.

Witnesses: James Prichard, Charles Thomas and Charles Thomas. [one Charles Thomas has marked and one has signed].

Date of probate: 12 January 1749 .

2. Inventory: [plus copy] dated 11 January 1749 , value £3 16 3d. Appraisers none listed.

 

 

Observations:

Documents include a bond dated 12 January 1749 appointing sons, Thomas of Kenderchurch and Charles of Ewyas Harold administrators in place of the widow, Joan.
Including a coversheet; 7 sheets in all.
