1. Will: dated 30 March 1636:
Beneficiaries:
To the Cathedral church of St Davids, 6d.
To wife Katherine, all goods, cattle, chattels, household stuff & implements of husbandry towards the payment of debts. In addition 2 closes of land called Caie Ithan and Caie Glase held by lease from John Thomas Prichard deceased 'sould and granted to me the said William Jon William by Francis by the providence of God, late bishop of Carlile', for the duration of the unexpired term. Also to Katherine, his messuage or tenement, land meadows, leasows etc with all the appurtenances known as Hunt House for and towards the payment of his debts, and which are mortgaged to George [hole] and David George [the next two lines are badly damaged with holes and are unreadable]. Katherine to pay 'about the sum of CCCli [£300] for the redeeminge of the same premisses and payinge all other my debts whatsoever'.

Observations:
This will has an endorsement to the effct that this is a true copy that has been compared to the original before the original was granted out of the office and dated
In addition included with the documents is a written judgement entitled: 'A brief note of granting out the original will of William John Wm Dec. promoted by Catherine Wms his relict and executrix'. Dated 9 November1651.
The documents include a bond with bounden Katherine Williams of Clodock in the
This bond is very badly written and difficult to decipher, It is only by his signature at the bottom of the page that Thomas Delahay can be identified. Katherine signs with a 'WM' mark.
