If any of the girls die before the payout then their portion is to be divided between the survivors.
Catherine, wife, is to enjoy all his freehold and copyhold land in Clodock for the girls upkeep until they have all reached 21. Afterwards she is to have half of the 'issues and profits' of the lands for her lifetime.
The other half is to go to John, son and his heirs. On Catherine's death her half to pass to John.
To son, John, £20 to be paid to him when he reaches 21.
To daughter, Elizabeth, nine score pounds [£180] that are in the hands of Thomas Scudamore of Llancillo 'which nine score pounds I have promised and agreed before to be paid Thomas Scudamore as portion in marriage between him and my said daughter Elizabeth according to an agreement already concluded upon in writing or draft already drawn between me and the said Thomas Scudamore for his interest and purpose and further my will is that my executor shall p[er]form the true meaning of the said writings if Thomas Scudamore marries Elizabeth'
To Thomas Scudamore and Elizabeth, daughter, after 5 years of marriage, [undecipherable] yoke for their grounds four oxen and 2 milch cows.
To brother, David Symont, 'all my part of our lease of the tythe corn of the parish of Grysmont [Grosmont] wth all the profits there nowe remaining unto me as rent ungathered due unto me and all profits and comodities that may rise and come out of the said lease during the term of the lease unexpired'.
To sister, Margaret, £3.
To Ales [
To George, nephew, son of John Symont, brother, 30/-; and to Ales niece and daughter of John Symont, 13/4d and Catherine his other daughter,20/.
Executrix and his brother to disburse 20/- to 20 poor persons from Clodock parish at the church door on the day of his funeral.
The lease on the tithe of Llancillo to be passed to wife Catherine for the unexpired term towards the upkeep of the children and all 'his quick cattle' [livestock] .
To Lewis David, son of brother David Symont, 10/- a year for three years over and above his wages.
To servant, Ales, £3.
If wife Catherine remarries then the son and 4 daughters get the use of £20 a year to be paid them within a year of the remarriage.
