Description:
Will of William Prosser widower of Crasswall dated 8th June 1871, died 12th November 1871.
Beneficiaries:
To two grandsons Bibe and David or otherwise James Prosser of Tanhouse Crasswall, to be joint heirs, the cottage and garden in Michaelchurch Escley in occupation of William Jones.
To two sons William Prosser or otherwise William Pugh and James James or otherwise James Prosser, the land and house called Abraham Reeids in Crasswall the rent and repairs to be equalised including two wives Jane and Eliza Prosser, and Ann wife of Robert Williams and Emma wife of Richard Mapp and Aaron Prosser also Mary wife of William Watkins.
To grand daughter Mary wife of William Watkins £19 19s 6d.
To grand children equally to William Prosser and Mary Ann wife of Robert Williams and Emma wife of Richard Mapp and Aaron Prosser, all debts collected after expenses.
To William Prosser otherwise William Pugh, the cottage and garden called Yew Tree Cottage for his life and to his wife Jane Prosser if she survives him and after their deaths to grand daughter Mary Watkins wife of William Watkins.
To grandson William Prosser son of James James, clock, bed, bedstead, cupboard and weather glass.
To three grand daughters Mary Watkins, Emma Mapp and Mary Ann Williams, all the rest of household furniture equally.
Executors: George Watkins of Uppercwm and son William Pugh otherwise William Prosser.
