A dwelling house, lately occupied by Samuel Thomas, with 20a of land lying within a forest belonging to (1) called Forest Hene (mining and hunting rights excepted). 

For natural lives of Samuel Thomas and Daniel and Dinah, his brother and sister.

Rent 13/-, 4d for an ancient rent and 6/8 as a heriot.

Witnesses: W Mitchell and Henry Roger. With memo re possible renewal of lease.

Endorsed:

(a) ‘All the lives in being’. (19 June, 1718)

(b) Memo: (1) promises (2) that if (1) survives the within-named lives, that he will regrant the premises to the next relation of the last tenant for 3 lives, the rent, fine and heriot not to exceed that stated in the lease. Witnesses: W Mitchell and Henry Roger. Dated as lease.
