(1) Rt Hon Henry, Lord Abergavenny
(2) Delayhay Symonds of Crasswall, yeoman
Recites surrender of lease dated 20 Dec 1733 whereby Rt Hon William Lord Abergavenny demised to Thomas Perrott, Thomas Watham and Thomas Gilbert (only the last still living).

A cottage, barn and garden with 3 pieces of arable land of 2 acres, 3 pieces of pasture land of 2 acres and 2 pieces of meadow land of 2 acres (the last named being separated from the other 2 by the road from Longtown to Hay) all lying in township of Crasswall in (1)’s manor of Ewyaslacy and in the occupation of (2). Boundaries given.
For the lives of (2) aged about 45, Henry Symonds aged about 10, and Hannah Symonds aged about 12, being son and daughter of (2).
Rent 6/4d pa with 5/- as a heriot and 5/- on the alienation of the premises, (2) not being entitled to demise the premises without (1)’s permission.
