10 June, 1442.  Grant…to William Byngham, parson of the church of S. John Zachary, London, Masters William Wymbyll, William Millyngton, William Gulle, John Tylney and their heirs…of an annual farm or rent of 46s. 8d. which William Clerk, chaplain, and Thomas Fitzharry pay for the keeping of the alien priory of Carswell alias Carssewell alias Carsswall alias Crassewelle alias Craswell alias Crassewell [Craswall], in Wales, in the lordship of Ewyas Lacy, North Wales [sic], with the reversion of the priory after 10 years from Midsummer in the sixteenth year, which rent or farm they owe to the king by reason of a demise made thereof by the king to them of late;…etc.
