Beneficiaries:
To wife, Mary, 4 kine, a yoke of bullocks, all the sheep, one mare, 2 yearling bullocks and a calf.
To son and heir, Lewis, the great pan, one cupboard, one bedstead, two table boards with [missing word, probably "frames" ]. (However if Mary wishes to retain this stuff she can have it for her lifetime). Also the best yoke of oxen, two yearling bullocks and a bull calf and a great tub.
To Mary and Lewis together, all ploughing equipment and implements of husbandry to be divided between them.
To daughter, Sara Powell, 'the full sume of fower score pounds' to be paid within two years of the testator's death by Lewis.
To son, John, 3 score pounds paid likewise within 3 years.
To son, James, £20 [this amount is a guess based upon what can be seen in this damaged section of the document]
Also to John, a 3 year old heifer, one great [missing] one great brass pot, a truckle bed, 2 beds, a pair of sheets a blanket, one rug, one feather bolster and a little table board.
To son, Thomas, one bed, one bolster, one rug, one pair of sheets, a blanket, a bedstead one little table board with two stiles.
To Sara, a bedstead,
To wife, Mary, a feather bed, 2 feather bolsters, two flock beds, 2 pillows and pillow beers, and [hole, missing] coverings with their appurtenances -[Big Hole] one pot, one posnet, all the pewter, all the treen vessels and a broche. Together with all the corn in the barn and growing with 'other necessaries' [unspecified in the will] towards the maintenance of his children,
