Beneficiaries: To his wife, Mary, all that 'messuage and lands commonly called Turneynt ycha and Turneynt ytha' in the township of Llanveynoe which he purchased from Richard Morgan, gent and Katherine his wife, Elizabeth Walbeife, widow, and Sylvanus Lewis and Mary his wife. After her death the property is to pass to his heir, but in default of that, to his second daughter [not named], or otherwise to his eldest daughter, Mary. [He mentions several contingencies not included here.] Others mentioned are his nephews, Abraham Price and Willliam Price, sons of his brothers John and William Price deceased.
He leaves Mary his eldest daughter, a messuage [un-named] in Craswall, bought from Katherine Watkins and another in Michaelchurch Escley bought from his nephew and his wife, John and Anne Price, and another property in Craswall bought from Phillip Jones and his wife, Anne.
His daughter, Mary, is to abate one year's interest on the mortgage to his nephew John Price.
To the poor of Craswall he gives 25/- and woollen cloth to the same value 'to be distributed amongst the said poore wth in a weeke before Christmas next after my decease'. The same to be distributed among the poor of Michaelchurch Escley.
To William, Sible and Elizabeth Price, the son and daughters of his deceased brother, William, 50/- each.
To Anne, Elizabeth and Mary Gilbert, daughters of his sister Judith Gilbert, 50/- each.
To all the men and maid servants dwelling with him at the time of his death, 10/- each.
To nephew, Abraham and his sisters, Anne and Katherine, 20/- each.
To his reputed son, Thomas Price, £20.
Mary, his wife, to be residual legatee as long as she remains unmarried; otherwise, everything is to be divided equally between his children by her, with the exception of one feather bed and furniture. If Mary dies or remarries during the child or children's minority then his nephew John Price, gent of Michaelchurch is to be the guardian. He is to receive 'for his paynes', 20/- every quarter until they attain the age of 21 or are married.

Executrix: his wife, Mary Price with John Price, gent. as overseer.

Observations:

An interesting inventory, his clothes valued at £5 are those of a comparatively wealthy man of some local standing. His household was similarly well equipped with fine linen and brass. 7 documents in all.
