Beneficiaries: To his wife, Sarah Gilbert, all his freehold lands and tenements and after her death to his son William Gilbert, subject to the payment of several legacies charged on his lands.
To his son, John Gilbert, £20 at age 21.
To sons and daughters, Thomas ,James and Ann and Sarah, £60 each at age 21.
His wife is to take the profit of the said property to 'keep, cloath and maintain' his children until they can manage for themselves. If his wife dies before this then whichever of the children is in possession of his estate at the time is to give the younger children 'Education, (that is to say) to read and write'
Wife, Sarah is residual legatee

Executrix:wife, Sarah Gilbert.

Witnesses: Thomas Williams, Ann Powell[?] and Samuel Jones.
