Beneficiaries: All my leasehold houses, cottages and land held by leases [for lives] under Lord Abergavenny and John Smyth Esq. to John Gilbert of Crasswall, Attorney at Law, with the meaning that he should sell and dispose of the said leases. After settling debts and funeral expenses, the money to be disposed as follows: £5 to Thomas, son of Francis Miles late of Crasswall; £5 to Mary, daughter of the said Francis; £5 to Isabel Miles, widow; £10 to John Gilbert ‘for his trouble’ plus other goods and chattels; the rest of the money to be set out at interest and the interest thereof to be yearly distributed on every Saturday next before Whit Sunday to the poor of the township of Crasswall.
