These are photographs from a private collection of what appears to be a formal record of a ‘Visitation’ of Herefordshire to establish the Pedigree of the leading families in the County. The appearance suggests the original document may date from the 1700s or 1800s. The images have no document or archive reference. The images include heraldic Arms and ‘family tree’ relationships with names and marriages of successive generations from early times, but [with few exceptions] dates of birth, marriage or death are not shown.
