The book ‘Watermills of the Monnow and Trothy and their tributaries’ by SD Coates and DG Tucker gives a description of the known or suspected sites of watermills in Ewyas Lacy and the Golden Valley. The results of their research are summarised on a sketch map which names all the confirmed mill sites, an extract of which is shown below.
