Royal Cornwall Gazette September 20th 1839
Notice of sale by public auction on 21st October 1839 of the Tregrew Estate, together with the Tithes of corn and grain from the Barton of Trelissick and sundry other farms and lands, by order of the assignees of Thomas Daniell, a bankrupt, and under the authority of the High Court of Chancery. An earlier sale dated June 16th 1837 either found no buyer, or more likely [based on the reference to the High Court in this notice] was the subject of legal action causing the original sale to be deferred.
