1813 April 22. At Longtown Castle; Baker Gabb the younger, gent., deputy steward to Lewis Osborne, gent., chief steward.
William Jones of par. Walterstone, co Hereford, farmer, customary tenant, in consideration of £60 paid to him by John Gwillim of the township of Longtown, par. Clodock, co Hereford, labourer, surrenders a cottage, garden and 2 (Welsh) acres of land with appurtenances on Lower Mescoed in Ewyas Lacy manor that the said premises might be re-granted to the said John Gwillim for the life of the said William Jones.
