Elizabeth, late the wife of Bartholomew de Burgherssh

Writ, 12 May 1360.

Inq, taken at Hereford, Saturday after Corpus Christi, 13 June 1360. Euyas [Ewyas]. The castle and a moiety of the lordship held of the king in chief, service not known, in the March of Wales adjoining the county of Hereford. She died on Friday after Ascension day in the year abovesaid (sic). Bartholomew de Burgherssh, son of Bartholomew and Elizabeth, aged 30 years and more, is her heir.  She held no other lands in the county or March of Wales adjoining.
