Description:

A tabulation of leases and tenants relating to properties in Clodock, Craswall, Llanveynoe, Longtown, Michaelchurch Escley, Newton and St Margarets in the year 1818. Dates of grant of leases refer in many cases back to the 18th century, and the schedules are annotated with comments up to c.1859. Descriptions, names and boundaries of properties are described, often including names of adjoining landowners or tenants. The lives for which the lease is granted are specified, together with the rent and heriot applicable.
