5 October 1403. Grant during pleasure, to William Beauchamp, Richard Kyngeston, archdeacon of Hereford, John Chandos, Leonard Makeluyt, John Bodenham, sheriff of Hereford, John ap William and John Skydmore of full power to receive into the king’s peace any Welsh rebels of the lordships of Melenyth, Werthrunyon, Comotoydur, Elveld, Clyfford, Vowemenede, Ewias Lacy [Ewyas Lacy], Ewias Harald, Monemouth, Whit Castell, Skenfryth, Grosmond, Overwent, Netherwent, Boghred and Glasbury, saving to the king the forfeiture of their lands and goods.
