Advertisement dated June 21st 1862 of the auction sale of the Michaelchurch Escley Court Estate and the Trenant Estate, including properties in the parishes of Michaelchurch Escley, St Margarets, Craswall, Llanveynoe, Newton, Clodock and Peterchurch. The Manors of Ewyas Lacy and Crasswall are included in the sale. Copper and lead ores are said to have been found within the manors and are said to abound, being ‘the property of the Lords [of the manors].’
