Description:

A map of the Abbey Dore Court Estate is included in an Abstract of Title drawn up in 1919 by the Executors in connection with the sale of the estate following the death of the owner, Captain Richard Crawshaw Bailey Partridge in September 1918, near the end of the First World War.

Observations:

A handwritten comment on the map stating ‘This map is incorrect’ is not contemporary; it relates to a 20^th Century dispute over the ownership of land adjacent to the line of the Golden Valley Railway where it passed through the old Abbey Dore Estate.
