Indenture dated 1743 between Charles Noel, 4th Duke of Beaufort, Earl of Glamorgan, Earl of Worcester and others, referring to leases dating from1740
Part of a Bundle of papers concerning Charles Noel, 4th Duke of Beaufort and the conveyance of the Manor of Poston, and manors of Crickhowell and Tretower (Brecon) to the Duke by Lord Arthur Somerset in return for an annuity and discharge of his considerable debts, and giving the Duke the right to take legal action to revoke leases which Lord Arthur has been 'imposed upon' to grant on terms very detrimental to the estate, 1742; estate settlement, 1745-6
