Photograph of notice of a Parliamentary Bill to extend the time for purchase of land by the Golden Valley Railway Company sent to the Marquis of Abergavenny, requesting his assent or dissent to the bill, and a copy of his reply in dissent. No reason was given for his lack of support although by 1893 the Railway Company was in financial difficulties, which may have had a bearing.
