Beneficiaries: To wife, Mary Phillips, the cottage and lands etc in Lower Mescoed held by lease from the Earl of Abergavenny, currently in the possession of tenant Simon Morgan, for the unexpired years and lives. As well as all the remainder of his estate of whatever nature.

Witnesses: John Morgan, shoemaker, William Price of Cwmyoy & [?] Gilbert.

Marked by testator.

Executrix: Mary Phillips, wife

Date of Probate: 21 December 1804 .

2. Inventory: [plus copy] Dated 12 December 1804 . Value £289 10 0d. Appraisers William Phillips & David Phillips.

 

 

Observations:

The inventory contains the information that Thomas Phillips died on '13 October 1804 in the 63rd year of his age'. Documents include a separate registration Instruction, 4 pages in all.
