Beneficiaries: Ann, the wife of William Smith, my daughter, a messuage now in the possession of William Smith, then to her heirs.
To 'Mary my wife' that messuage 'now in the possession of William David my tenant...known by the name of Ty Philip Prichard'. After her death to his grandson William Smith, or if he dies 'to John Mapp my son'.
To John and Mary, his grandchildren. 'one ewe apiece'
Also to his wife all the household stuff she brought with her on their marriage, 3 Ewes and half the grain growing on the farm.together with 'victuals drink and houseroom until the first day of May next after the date hereof'.
To Ann, his daughter one two year old heifer in calf 'known by the name of Merry Maid'. He gives his wife and his grandson William a piece of Woollen and a piece of linen cloth to be divided between them with proviso that Mary Beavan , his maid should have two yards and a half "to make her a shift".

Executor: his son, John Mapp with William Gilbert, yeoman of Craswall , to be overseer of his will.

Observations:

No inventory. A tear in the centre of the will has completely obscured one line of bequests. Number of documents 3.
