Beneficiaries: To his wife, Mary, all his freehold Messuage and lands called Gwarrded [?] in Longtown and after her death to his nephew David Griffiths, subject to several other legacies being paid, firstly £10 to his niece Mary Griffiths, then one shilling each to his nephews William Pritchard, James Pritchard, John Pritchard and one shilling to his brother David Pritchard. All his living stock to his wife in order to pay all his debts and funeral expenses. His wife to be residual legatee.,

Executors: his wife jointly with his nephew David Griffiths

Mark of testator.

Witnesses: John Pritchard, James Cook, William Watkins.

Date of probate: 31 March 1823.

 

 

Observations:

No inventory. Number of documents 4,. The widow, Mary Pritchard gave her address as "Olchion [Olchon] Mill, Llanveynoe"
