Beneficiaries: To his father Phillipp John William, 20/-.
To his brother Lewis Phillipps, 20/-.
To John and Elinor Prosser, son and daughter of his nephew William Prosser, £5 to be equally divided between them. £5 to be equally divided between John and Mary Prosser, son and daughter of his nephew, John Prosser, saddler.
'And whereas Susan my wife is now with Childe…my executor, … shall duly pay unto the said Childe 50/-'.
To his nephew Henry James, £3.
To the three oldest daughters of Thomas Hugh of 'Grossmount', 30/- to be equally divided between them.
To godson Thomas, son of Thomas Phillipps of Longtown, 5/-. To godson Henry, son of Henry William of Longtown, 5/-.
To Jane Price, maidservant of William Prosser, 5/- if she is still in his service at the time of the testator's death.
The sum of 40/- to buy rye to be distributed between the poor of Llanveynoe and Longtown, but only the inhabitants living between '…the house of Henry the weaver along the Highway Leading from the Chappell of Llanveynoe downe to Clodock Church and from the house of William David Watkine along the Mowntaine side downwards as farr as the house of Catherine Price widow…'

His nephew William Prosser of Llanveynoe to be residual legatee and sole executor.
