The photographs below are of the summary report of the Olchon Development Project, published in August 1999. The introduction states that the project was set up in the spring of 1998 to take stock of the Longtown group of parishes: Craswall, Llanveynoe, Longtown with Clodock, and Walterstone. It was funded by grants from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund, the UK Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food, and Herefordshire Council, with the objective of creating an information base and recommendations for the development of sustainable economic regeneration and landscape/ wildlife protection and enhancement in the study area. The summary report is backed up by more detailed reports in five topic areas. They are:

Stone walls and stiles

Local history [including a field name survey ]

Tourism
