1798 May 7 At Longtown Castle; Lewis Osborne, gent., deputy steward to Robert Morgan Kinsley esq., chief steward.

John Gwillim, customary tenant, by his attorney Thomas Penry, surrenders 5 parcels of land called Cai deved, of 17 acres, in the township of Longtown, par. Clodock, manor of Ewyas Lacy (boundaries given); those parcels of land called Caie Gavion or Bakers lands, of 17.5 acres, in the township of Newton, par. Clodock, manor of Ewyas Lacy; leased to the use of David Morgan of par. Backton, co Hereford, gent., for the lives of the said John Gwillim and Elizabeth Gwillim and Jane Gwillim, sisters of the said John.

Seisin granted to David Morgan for the above term, at a rent of 3s 0d pa, with 5s 0d as a heriot and with due services, 5s 0d heriot paid.
