Description:

1. Will dated 24[?25] April 1828:

Beneficiaries: To William, son, £10 'and if he ne'er return to be divided between his 2 sisters'
To John, eldest son, that freehold cottage where he now dwell.
To second son, Joseph, the 'freehold cottage where wee now dwell together with the blacksmith shop and the mason workshop' plus all work tools
To daughters, Mary Pritchard and Jane Peaugh [?Pugh] £5 each
To Anne Griffiths, granddaughter, one bed with bed clothes and bed frame.

Executors: Jane Prichard, wife, and Joseph Pritchard, second son.

Signed by testator.

Witnesses: John Pritchard, senior, mason, Henry Pritchard, mason & John Lewis, farmer

Date of Probate: 28 may 1834.

2. Inventory:
none but coversheet endorsed 'under seventy pounds'

 

 

Observations:

A separate cover sheet and Registration Instruction included; 3 sheets in all. The first bequest in this will has not been assigned by name to any person so whether it is intended for son William or perhaps the wife cannot now be elucidated .
