This was obviously a wealthy and sophisticated gentleman with his silk bed curtains and a looking glass.
His inventory is reproduced below with modern spelling.

Note. Figures marked '*' have been based on assumptions of the most likely as the original document seems to have been cut off closely on the right hand edge.
There are two figures at the bottom of the page one £70 7 2d and £53; neither give any indication they are intended as a total and the £53 is linked to a number of other scribbled and what look like figures, these may have been an attempt by the writer to add up a total.
Further there seems to be a note on the reverse of the coversheet but unfortunately the ink has been smudged making it indecipherable.
