Beneficiaries
To granddaughter, Sarah Hoddell, messuage, tenement and lands called Bagalivate in Garaway [Garway] together with £130 in cash when she reaches 21.
To granddaughter, Mary Hoddell, £240 when she reaches 21,
To granddaughter, Elizabeth Hoddell, £240 when she attains 21.
To son in law, James Hoddell all copyhold and personal property and 'securities for money whether bonds or notes', in trust to enable him to pay the legacies, debts and funeral expenses.
Executor: James Hoddell, son in law.
Marked.by the testator.
Witnesses: John Rogers and George Jones.
Date of Probate: 11 July 1826.
Observations:
As this is taken from a copy of the will deposited at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury there are no supporting documents.
A simple will but the handwriting is very difficult to read.
