1. Will dated 25 September 1708:
Beneficiaries: All freehold and leasehold lands to son Theophilus with instructions that they be sold and after debts paid the balance to be distributed equally between his children, sons John, Paul & Theophilus and daughter, Ann.
To Ann, one bed 'I had with my wife' and its appurtenances and one chest. Also the remaining household stuff less the beds below.
To Paul, 'ye bedd where I doe lye with ye appurtenances thereunto belonging'
To Theophilus 'one bedd where he doth now usually lye'   
Implements of husbandry to be divided between Ann, Paul and Theophilus

Executor: Theophilus with William Delahay of Llanigon as supervisor

Observations:

Documents include a separate registration instruction dated 27 January 1708/09   and a coversheet dated 28 January; 4 sheets in all. This will is of interest in that it reflects the Welsh tradition of gavelkind ie treating all children equally.
