Description:

1. Will [2 pages] dated 27 August 1782 :

Beneficiaries: To wife, Mary, 'all that my messuage.... called Bryn Rhewy now in my own occupation...' and on her death to grandson, Henry Harris and thence to his heirs. Should he have no heirs then to Hannah Hunt, 'my wife's cousin'
To Hannah Hunt and Walter Jeffreys of Brecon 'all household goods, furniture, shop goods stock and crop money and securities for money etc' in trust for his wife to take the yearly interest and profit and after her death the proceeds of the trust to be directed to his grandson Henry Harris until he attain the age of 21 when he shall inherit.
If Henry Harris dies before reaching 21 then the whole inheritance to be distributed amongst the children of the testator's brother and sisters.

The inventory is of particular interest giving, as it does, a list of the stock in trade with an indication of the worth of the items.
